This role focuses on building and scaling access control systems that power the permissions framework across Webflow's platform. The ideal candidate will bring 7-10 years of experience in scalable environments, with specific expertise in RBAC and related access control systems.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $164,000-$263,500 USD, depending on location, along with comprehensive benefits including equity, full healthcare coverage, and flexible PTO. Responsibilities For Staff Backend Engineer

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services related to Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Drive cross-pillar collaboration with software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts
  • Effectively communicate team priorities and strategy to leadership teams
  • Write and update scalable software in modern stacks
