Weights & Biases is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Models team. This role involves leading new product initiatives to help ML engineers collaborate and share information. You'll work on complex technical challenges, improve developer productivity, and focus on enhancing the user experience based on customer feedback.
The ideal candidate has multiple years of full-stack engineering experience, with proficiency in modern web technologies like React and TypeScript. Strong software engineering fundamentals and knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C++, etc.) are required. Experience with time series data and data visualizations is a plus.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Models
- Lead new product initiatives that help our customers (ML engineers) collaborate and share information
- Collaborate with other developers on complex technical and performance challenges
- Find ways to make the developers on the team more productive
- Focus on our end users and listen to customer feedback in order to improve our product
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Models
- Multiple years in Full-stack engineering, building and maintaining user facing products
- Advanced proficiency in modern web technologies such as React, Typescript
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and knowledge of at least 1 modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C++, etc)
- Experience building high quality products end to end - technical design, implementation, testing, and launch
- An ability to navigate ambiguity and reach a clear understanding of problems affecting our users
- An ability to build features based on complex requirements stated in user terms
- Interest in the AI/ML space, and a desire to continue to learn
