Director Software Engineer | BASE Focus Area

As a Director Software Engineer in the BASE Focus Area, you'll oversee engineering teams building mission-critical services. You'll drive technical strategy, optimize processes, and mentor teams to create a high-performance culture. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing multiple engineering teams to deliver complex, large-scale projects
• Partnering with senior leadership on engineering and product roadmaps
• Advancing best practices and improving development processes

• Ensuring high availability and scalability of critical systems

You should have:

• Experience managing managers and guiding multiple engineering teams
• Expertise in architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications
• Proficiency with cloud solutions like AWS/GCP
• Strong mentoring and communication skills
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies
• Deep understanding of systems and troubleshooting
