Frontend Mobile Software Engineer

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Mid-Level Frontend Mobile Software Engineer to join their Billing Platform team. As a global corporate wellness platform headquartered in NYC with presence in 11 countries, Wellhub connects employees to premium wellness services including fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep through a single subscription.

The role involves working with a team of 5 mid-level and senior software engineers based in Brazil and Portugal, focusing on the billing platform that processes millions of transactions globally. You'll be responsible for improving checkout conversion rates and account management interactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and payment service providers.

Key responsibilities include executing strategic projects that influence global B2B and B2C checkout processes, implementing new payment mechanisms, and maintaining existing ones. The position offers opportunities to tackle challenging scalability problems and system architecture decisions while ensuring code quality.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with ReactJS (though Angular or Vue experience is considered), proficiency in RESTful APIs, and expertise in React Native. You'll need advanced English and Portuguese language skills, experience with testing methodologies, and a deep understanding of browser functionality.
