Lead Software Engineer

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Tagus | BASE Team in Brazil. As part of this team, you'll be at the heart of Wellhub's business model, building a scalable platform to support millions of users, clients, and partners worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve high-performance, scalable, and resilient services
• Build integrations among services and tools
• Enhance and scale existing systems to meet product demands
• Work in a collaborative, agile environment focused on productivity
• Utilize cutting-edge technologies for global-scale solutions

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python (Go expertise is a plus)
• Experience with cloud-based architectures, particularly AWS and GCP
• Strong background in developing RESTful web services
• Expertise in SQL/NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB
• Excellent communication skills for working with diverse, international teams
• Advanced English skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
