As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Search & Discovery Team, you'll build scalable architectures, develop services for search and recommendations, lead engineering projects, and contribute to the product development process. The ideal candidate has expertise in web application development, proficiency in multiple programming languages, experience with cloud platforms, and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies. Responsibilities For Senior Backend Engineer
- Build scalable, maintainable architectures and write clean code
- Design, develop, deliver, and support software services for search and recommendation
- Lead engineering projects and define technical roadmap
- Analyze data to infer user preferences and evolving trends

Requirements For Senior Backend Engineer
- Expertise in designing and developing complex modern web applications
- Proficiency in object-oriented and functional design patterns, and RESTful web services
- Strong command of computer science fundamentals
- Skilled in at least two programming languages (C, C++, Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, or Go)
- Experience in leading complex software systems development
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized application deployments
- Competence in SQL and NoSQL technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Experience in information retrieval, recommendation systems, and natural language processing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
