Description For Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is a corporate wellness platform connecting employees to fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep partners. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in NYC, we have a global team in 11 countries. We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer for our Wellz (New Ventures) team in Brazil. You'll work on developing an impactful product focused on mental health, delivering customized content and integrating online therapy.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring successful project delivery
  • Designing, developing, and improving scalable services
  • Building integrations with 3rd party APIs
  • Managing project priorities and deadlines
  • Bringing expertise in architecture and design
  • Supporting and enhancing existing systems
  • Creating new services to meet emerging needs

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in fullstack development (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in Golang or NodeJS (desirable)
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, and modern web technologies
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of software design and UX patterns

Responsibilities For Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

  • Ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and stability
  • Build Integration with 3rd party API and tools
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Bring expertise in architecture and design process
  • Support existing systems and enhance functionality
  • Meet with business and product teams to review product design
  • Create new services/products to meet emerging needs

Requirements For Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

  • Experience in fullstack development (mandatory)
  • Desirable experience with Golang or NodeJS
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS, and modern web technologies like React or Angular
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
  • Proficiency in software design approaches and common UX patterns
  • Experience applying object-oriented or functional design and RESTful web services
  • Experience applying computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
