Description For Senior Software Engineer - Data

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Data for their Data Solutions squad in Brazil. As part of the growing Data team, you'll contribute to the data democratization mission, making data accessible to everyone. You'll be responsible for empowering all teams by providing a scalable and reliable data platform to collect, organize, and process data, following best practices in data modeling and governance.

Your work will directly impact the goal of enabling data-driven decisions across the organization. The role involves designing and implementing innovative data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring robust data architecture and technical product integration.

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in data engineering and architecture, experience in building in-house solutions, and proficiency in technologies like CDC, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Trino, and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of data lakehouse design and passion for data democratization are crucial. Familiarity with data management tools, MLOps frameworks, and cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS) is a plus.
