Software Engineer | GenAI

Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join their GenAI team in Brazil. This role focuses on generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) + LLMs fine-tuning, and API integrations. The ideal candidate will work on exciting areas such as:

1. Generative AI Development:

   • Design, develop, and implement generative AI-based applications
   • Work with large language models (LLMs) to create innovative solutions
   • Stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI

2. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG):

   • Develop and optimize RAG systems to enhance AI model performance
   • Implement robust data retrieval mechanisms
   • Collaborate with data engineers on data pipeline integration

3. API Development and Integration:

   • Design and develop secure, scalable APIs for AI models and services
   • Ensure seamless integration with other software systems (e.g., WhatsApp, Slack, Teams, Google Chat)

4. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams
   • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
   • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, C, or C++
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies
• API development and integration experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese
• Ability to work on high scalable and distributed projects
• Experience with undefined scope projects
• Fast learning ability and adaptability to new technologies

Preferred qualifications include:

• PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with generative AI frameworks, large language models, and RAG technologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, data engineering, and machine learning frameworks
• Understanding of NLP and computer vision
• Experience with Kubernetes
