Senior Software Engineer

Wells Fargo's Enterprise Data & Platforms (EDP) in Consumer Technology (CT) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Core Banking Deposits/Transaction Processing product area. This role focuses on API development and building highly scalable, resilient microservices applications. The position involves working with a scrum team to develop critical solutions while managing technology risk and driving transformation activities including cloud migration and test automation.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with business/technical product managers, systems architects, and other engineers to design and implement robust solutions. They will be responsible for ensuring technology solutions adhere to enterprise policies and standards, including documentation of Security Plans and Service Level Agreements.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office, located either in Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH. The position involves working in a 24/7 environment with possible night, weekend, or holiday work as needed. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Key technical requirements include extensive experience with Java/Spring, microservices architecture, Oracle databases, and Linux/Unix environments. The role demands strong expertise in API development, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices including Agile methodologies.
