Android Engineer

Welltech, a global leader in the Health & Fitness industry, is seeking an Android Engineer to join their innovative team. With over 200 million installs across five life-changing apps, Welltech is on a mission to transform lives through intuitive nutrition trackers, powerful fitness solutions, and personalized wellness journeys.

As an Android Engineer at Welltech, you'll be part of the product and engineering team responsible for Yoga-Go, an app that improves the health and wellbeing of millions by providing an optimal environment for practicing yoga and related soothing activities at home. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on ambitious products that positively impact users' lives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with a modern technology stack, including Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Compose
• Participating in the design and development of mobile apps and their integrations with backend systems
• Contributing to the overall product's System Design
• Collaborating with other engineers to push the boundaries of technical excellence
• Operating and supporting production systems
• Implementing innovative ideas in a customer-centric environment with high ownership

The ideal candidate will have:

• Commercial experience in Android development (Kotlin)
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and architectures like MVVM/MVI and DI
• Experience with Android Jetpack, Kotlin Coroutines, and Rest API
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose
• Ability to craft clean, maintainable code and design for testability
• Excellent communication skills and a good command of English
