As a Prompt Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, create, and answer questions related to causality within various narratives and scenarios. You'll be tasked with exploring different aspects and relationships within these scenarios, focusing on cause-and-effect dynamics and the interplay between various elements.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fields such as Cognitive Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Linguistics, or NLP research. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred, but candidates with a BA in Linguistics and 5+ years of relevant work experience will also be considered. Fluency in Japanese (C2 level) and proficiency in English (B1 level) are required.
This role requires a highly analytical mind with a deep understanding of the intricate relationships within narratives. You'll be contributing to a project that aims to advance causal reasoning in large language models, helping to enhance these models' innovative capabilities.
Key responsibilities include generating prompts and responses that delve into causal reasoning, developing guidelines for crafting prompts that explore causality, creating and answering questions about causality in narratives, and designing detailed prompts for various scenarios.
