Technical Publication Engineer

Welocalize, a leading global transformation partner, is seeking a Technical Publication Engineer to join their team in Gurgaon, India. This role combines technical documentation development and QA engineering skills, with a 40-60 split between localized documentation development and document QA.

The position involves managing and developing all aspects of localized technical documentation and help materials for software solutions used by global customers. You'll work with various file formats including markdown, XML, JSON, and Adobe suite files, while ensuring high-quality localization and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities include generating and managing source files, configuring publish transforms, creating translation projects, and performing quality assurance on localized content. You'll work with modern tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, GitHub, and various translation management systems.

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in technical publication or related fields, with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Strong technical skills in documentation development, markup environments, and quality assurance testing are essential. Knowledge of various technical platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, version control systems, and translation management systems, is required.
