WeRide, a pioneering smart mobility start-up, is revolutionizing transportation through autonomous driving technology. We're seeking New Grad Software Engineers specialized in Algorithms to join our innovative team for 2025. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology across multiple technical teams.

The position spans across various crucial departments including Perception, Prediction, Planning and Control, Mapping and Localization, and WeBoost teams. You'll be developing sophisticated computer vision and machine learning algorithms, implementing sensor fusion solutions, and working on neural 3D reconstruction. The role involves hands-on experience with autonomous driving systems, from simulation to real-world testing.

As part of WeRide, you'll collaborate with elite entrepreneurs and technologists who are passionate about transforming mobility. The position offers exposure to multiple aspects of autonomous vehicle development, from perception and prediction to planning and control. Responsibilities For New Grads 2025 - Software Engineer, Algorithm

  • Develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms/models
  • Implement and optimize models for deployment across WeRide vehicles
  • Design and implement algorithms for sensor fusion, robust pose estimation and neural 3D reconstruction
  • Analyze autonomous driving simulation and road test data to identify and resolve motion planning issues

Requirements For New Grads 2025 - Software Engineer, Algorithm

Python
  • MS/PhD degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Physics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Automation or equivalent practical experience
  • Expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Proficient in C++ and/or Python with knowledge of its latest features
  • Strong understanding of machine learning approaches and algorithms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional team collaboration abilities
  • Passion for innovation in the autonomous vehicle industry
