As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer in the Backend team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services and infrastructure that powers their innovative geospatial database and Wherobots Cloud environment. The company is 100% cloud-native and builds its product using modern and reliable tools and technologies, including Python, Java, and Golang services deployed on cloud-based Kubernetes environments.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing performance and reliability, conducting code reviews, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in backend software development, proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, and a strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms.
