Software Engineer II (MLOps)

WHOOP is on a mission to unlock human performance through technology that helps members understand their bodies and daily lives better. We're seeking a Software Engineer II to join our MLOps team, focusing on ML cloud infrastructure development and optimization. This role is crucial in supporting our Data Science and AI teams by building robust, scalable systems for productionalizing machine learning models.

The position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of ML/AI and production systems, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions that drive value across WHOOP. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines for ML models, and developing necessary components for seamless integration.

Working closely with Data Scientists and AI teams, you'll leverage cloud services like AWS SageMaker, Lambda, and ECS to build cost-effective solutions supporting real-time ML/AI workloads. The role requires strong technical skills in Python or Java, understanding of ML lifecycle, and cloud computing expertise.
