Responsibilities For ESPS Test Engineer

  • Support development and commissioning of development and integration battery test assets
  • Design mechanical and electrical fixtures for battery test assets
  • Develop wiring diagrams and create harness drawings
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and software issues on test assets
  • Support development of test automation scripts and GUI on LabVIEW and/or Python
  • Automate test execution, data collection and post-processing
  • Work with cross functional team to develop test requirements and test plans
  • Write test specifications, operation manuals and test procedures

Requirements For ESPS Test Engineer

Python
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline
  • 2 years hands-on experience designing, fabricating, and assembling tests assets
  • Experience working with battery systems (high voltage preferred)
  • Experience integrating off-the-shelf test equipment and DAQs
  • Experience with data acquisition devices and transducers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • 10% travel to external test facilities required
