Description For Backend Software Engineer (.NET, Mid Level)

The role focuses on developing and maintaining crucial financial technology systems using .NET technologies. As a Backend Engineer, you'll work on both customer-facing and internal applications, including their broker portal platform and custom-built loan management system.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies like .NET Core 8 and React SPAs, while also maintaining some legacy systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with C#/.NET, understanding of software development lifecycle, and passion for clean code. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, and experience in Agile environments are highly valued.

Responsibilities For Backend Software Engineer (.NET, Mid Level)

  • Work on internal and external facing applications including Broker portal platform
  • Develop and maintain internal loan management system
  • Build financial wellness tools like Breach Alert, Credit Scores and Debt Bustr
  • Write clean and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with Tech & Product teams and wider business
  • Implement automated testing
  • Work with APIs written in .Net Core 8
  • Maintain legacy applications written in .Net Framework 4.7

Requirements For Backend Software Engineer (.NET, Mid Level)

  • Experience with C#/.NET
  • Experience with .Net Framework 4.7
  • Experience with .Net Core 8
  • Experience with SQL and Entity Framework
  • Experience with Integration and unit testing
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) is a plus
  • ReactJS experience is a plus
