- Design and develop new features in collaboration with the Product team (Design, Product Management, Mobile, Software Quality Assurance);

iOS Engineer Intern (M/F)

Withings is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Shenzhen, China. The role involves improving mechanical design, design-to-cost, and design for manufacturing of company products. Key responsibilities include:

- Analyzing and improving mechanical design of products in coordination with the Product Development Team in Paris
- Designing components, packaging, accessories, and/or products using CAD, DFM, GD&T, and product management tools
- Leading technical discussions with suppliers and acting as an interface between suppliers and the product development team in France
- Anticipating, managing, and solving manufacturing, assembly, and quality problems on production lines and with component manufacturers
- Assisting in setting up and ramping up production lines during NPI stages
- Analyzing production line data to optimize mass production efficiency and cost
- Designing production line jigs and tools for product assembly, testing, and validation

The ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with consumer electronics and/or packaging mechanical design, assembly, and validation
- Experience in manufacturing processes and plastic injection
- Proficiency in CAD software and Office Pack
- Strong problem-solving skills and an autonomous mindset

As part of the Machine Learning team, you'll be involved in developing algorithms to extract physiological and medical information for users, such as SPO2, heart rate, and detection of various pathologies like atrial fibrillation and sleep apnea. Your responsibilities may include:
