iOS Engineer Intern (M/F)

Our connected scales, hybrid watches, blood pressure monitors, sleep trackers, and all the devices in our range are used by millions of users today.

Our goal is to enable prevention, screening, and support for a number of chronic diseases through innovative products and services, revolutionizing the way we take care of our health.

At the heart of our connected health ecosystem, the mobile application is a flagship product of Withings. Divided into universes allowing users to visualize their data (sports activity, sleep, weight, blood pressure, heart health...), our application helps more than a million users improve their health every day.

Capable of communicating with more than twenty connected objects via Bluetooth, BLE, and Wifi, it presents numerous technical challenges for our teams.

As an intern within the iOS team, you will:

• Design and develop new features in collaboration with the Product team (Design, Product Management, Mobile, Software Quality Assurance);
• Establish data transmission and transformation chains with the Platform, Data Science, and Embedded Software teams;
• Perform unit and UI test sets, ensure a high level of code quality, participate in code reviews...;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing features, tools, and processes.

The team:

• The mobile team includes 17 experienced developers and continues to grow;
• We place great importance on learning and encourage technical monitoring and knowledge sharing on a daily basis;
• Development cycles are short and agile (stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives);
• New developments are carried out in Swift5, with MVP+C architecture;
• Merge requests are made via Gitlab, continuous integration is ensured by GitlabCI;
• We take great care in code quality (Switgen, Swiftlint, Danger);
• Our crash-free user rate is always above 99%;
• Our ongoing projects: breaking down the application into modules and migrating legacy code to Swift.
