WitnessAI, a leader in innovative networking solutions, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to spearhead their developer experience and CI/CD initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge infrastructure and tools, focusing on enhancing productivity, automation, and secure deployments at scale.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience in software and systems engineering, particularly in CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the design and management of containerized application builds in Kubernetes, implement secure CI/CD pipelines, and create developer-friendly tools and portals.

Key responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing developer productivity through automation, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and contributing to SRE tooling. The role demands expertise in Python, Go, cloud services (AWS/GCP), and various DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.

Working in a hybrid environment (2 days/week in SF Bay Area), you'll join a passionate team pushing the boundaries of infrastructure innovation. Responsibilities For Sr. DevOps Engineer

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure all tests run seamlessly in the pipeline
  • Design and implement RBAC frameworks for secure access
  • Lead initiatives to enhance developer productivity
  • Optimize build machines and reduce build times
  • Build and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Create and maintain internal developer portal
  • Build trend and metrics portals
  • Contribute to SRE Tooling and automation
  • Participate in Shared on call schedule
  • Contribute to Observability solutions

  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Helm, Docker, Artifactory
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, web architecture, and database systems
