Workable, a leading provider of comprehensive HR solutions, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing team. As a company serving over 31,000 businesses with their all-in-one HR suite, they're looking to scale their infrastructure from thousands to hundreds of thousands of users. The role focuses on managing a microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes, where automation is at the core of operations.

The ideal candidate will join a talented SRE team responsible for deploying, monitoring, optimizing, and securing cloud infrastructure and company software. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Develop tools and automations to make operations and deployments simpler and more robust
  • Operate, deploy, and monitor cloud services from development to production
  • Work in cross-functional teams with Developers on designing, releasing, and troubleshooting production systems
  • Be responsible for the availability, scalability, and performance of our systems
  • Troubleshoot issues, do capacity planning, and analyze system performance
  • Lead projects within the team and be responsible for their timely delivery

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or proven strong background)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, particularly written communication
  • Analytical, troubleshooting and sysadmin skills
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, including programming experience
  • Experience with Kubernetes platform and technology stack
  • Experience with a major cloud provider (GCP and AWS preferred)
  • Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools
  • Experience with centralized logging, monitoring systems, and tooling frameworks
  • Knowledge of Linux systems
  • Familiarity of at least one programming language (preferably Go, Python, C++)
