Data Operations Engineer

WorldQuant is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to enhance their data onboarding and signal generation pipeline. This role combines real-time operations support with development work, focusing on end-to-end monitoring from data ingestion to signal generation. The position involves working with researchers, data strategists, and engineering teams to ensure smooth pipeline operations.

The role requires expertise in Linux platforms, programming languages like Python, and SQL, along with strong English communication skills. You'll be responsible for supporting daily operations, triaging issues, improving pipeline reliability, and interfacing with external vendors. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-velocity environment where you'll solve complex technical and business problems around data structure, quality, and availability.
