Responsibilities For Senior Platform Data Engineer II
- Own and optimize data pipeline infrastructure
- Contribute to the development of the data engineering roadmap
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Implement and standardize data governance practices
- Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams
- Lead the design and implementation of layered data architecture
- Develop and implement data contracts
- Evaluate, plan, and execute new data tools and infrastructure
- Maintain SLAs for data freshness, accuracy, and availability
Requirements For Senior Platform Data Engineer II
- 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying production-quality code
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with data pipeline tools like Airbyte and dbt
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Proficiency with workflow automation tools like Dagster or Apache Airflow
- Deep familiarity with PostgreSQL
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling
- Advanced SQL skills
