Developer Experience (DX) Engineer

Writer, a leading enterprise AI platform recognized by Forbes as a top 50 AI company, is seeking a Senior Developer Experience (DX) Engineer to join their Developer Relations team. This role combines technical expertise with documentation skills to create exceptional developer experiences.

The position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work arrangement, offering an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technology while being part of a fast-growing team of 250+ employees across global office hubs. The role requires 5+ years of experience and deep expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript development.

As a DX Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing API specifications, implementing SDK features, and creating comprehensive technical documentation for Writer's AI Studio platform. You'll work closely with AI engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality documentation and SDK development.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about developer experience and understand the crucial importance of first impressions through documentation and tooling. Strong technical writing abilities are essential, as is experience with OpenAPI specifications, YAML, MDX, and Git workflows.
