As a frontend engineer at Writer, you'll work closely with the founders and engineering team to build, manage, and scale a user experience that tens of thousands of people rely on daily. You'll build key feature sets for the Writer product, manage the in-house design system, and optimize frontend code for performance and responsiveness. The role requires solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with strength in MobX, React, and Redux.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building modular, reusable components and features for Writer's web app
• Extending the product design system
• Integrating in-house and third-party systems via APIs
• Ensuring fast performance across the web app
• Collaborating with the product team on new features
• Contributing to the engineering culture

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, 5+ years with relevant frontend technologies, and sets a high bar for UX and UI. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
