Sr System Engineer 4

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Sr System Engineer 4 to join their team in Ft. Meade, Maryland. This role is part of the TM Team in Systems Engineering and requires on-site presence. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for participating in Information Assurance (IA) system, hardware, and software design activities, focusing on leading the evaluation of requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure supportability for security certification.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and fixing problems within existing systems
• Designing and implementing new systems and enhancing existing ones
• Analyzing customer needs and creating requirements for implementation
• Performing systems engineering activities in accordance with ISO/IEC 15288
• Analyzing technical alternatives and making recommendations
• Supervising or coordinating the work of other contractor engineers or technicians

The ideal candidate will have:

• TS/SCI clearance with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• 6+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• DoD approved certification meeting IAT-2 (DoD 8570) requirements
• Experience with Active Directory, Trellix/McAfee/HBSS/STIG, and various IT platforms
• Strong background in telecommunications, operating systems, databases, and applications
• Familiarity with ITIL and SEI/CMM
