Responsibilities For Hardware Design Engineer 1

  • Design and test new integrated circuits and hardware components
  • Conduct design analysis on components and assemblies
  • Apply ASIC or FPGA place and route tools
  • Develop and maintain documentation for P&R design flows
  • Assist with de-processing electronic components
  • Work with tool and library vendors
  • Integrate new P&R tools and ASIC/FPGA design libraries
  • Conduct remote site surveys
  • Perform RF interference detection/mitigation

Requirements For Hardware Design Engineer 1

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Three years experience as HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design
  • Experience in RF Communications Systems
  • Knowledge of RF Spectrum and RF Test equipment
  • Fiber optical installation, troubleshooting, and repair expertise
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and Technical Manuals
