Responsibilities For Hardware Design Engineer 1
- Design and test new integrated circuits and hardware components
- Conduct design analysis on components and assemblies
- Apply ASIC or FPGA place and route tools
- Develop and maintain documentation for P&R design flows
- Assist with de-processing electronic components
- Work with tool and library vendors
- Integrate new P&R tools and ASIC/FPGA design libraries
- Conduct remote site surveys
- Perform RF interference detection/mitigation
Requirements For Hardware Design Engineer 1
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Three years experience as HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design
- Experience in RF Communications Systems
- Knowledge of RF Spectrum and RF Test equipment
- Fiber optical installation, troubleshooting, and repair expertise
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and Technical Manuals
