Responsibilities For System Engineer 1

  • Analyze user requirements and develop system requirements specifications
  • Guide users in formulating requirements and conduct feasibility studies
  • Develop system Architecture and system design documentation
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements
  • Contribute to systems engineering documentation
  • Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board meetings
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities
  • Generate alternative system concepts and physical architectures
  • Define verification methods and processes
  • Develop system design solutions
  • Participate in interface definition and design

Requirements For System Engineer 1

Linux
Python
  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with system engineering or 12+ years of experience with system engineering in lieu of a degree
  • Strong Red Hat Linux background
  • Experience setting up and managing Dell Servers and Cisco Nexus Switches
  • Systems and Network Administration experience
  • Knowledge of ssh, firewalls, VMWare, and ESX servers
  • Experience with domain name service, Network Time Protocols
  • Experience with developing IP tables and RPMs
  • Bash shell scripting experience
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining NAS storage array
  • Experience with maintaining multiple networks
  • Experience with IAVMs
  • US Citizenship required
