Responsibilities For System Engineer 4
- Perform systems engineering activities across ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas
- Analyze and recommend technical alternatives for projects
- Develop and deliver work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas
- Supervise and coordinate work of other contractor engineers
- Brief stakeholders on technical aspects of projects
- Lead contractor systems engineering activities
- Perform analysis of technical alternatives
- Implement engineering standards and processes
Requirements For System Engineer 4
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10 years experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 14 years experience, OR Master's Degree with 8 years experience
- Ability to travel 3-4 times per year (up to 14 days/trip)
- Strong Linux knowledge (RedHat, CentOS, Rocky)
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Visio)
- Knowledge in optical fiber systems and cabling
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software
