As our Datacenter Infrastructure Engineer Lead, you'll play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our state-of-the-art data center infrastructure. This position combines technical expertise with leadership, requiring deep knowledge of data center engineering including power, cooling, and networking systems.

The role offers unique opportunities to work in a flat organizational structure where initiative and excellence are rewarded. You'll lead a team of infrastructure engineers while collaborating closely with IT, construction, facilities, and operations teams. Your responsibilities will span from infrastructure design and planning to system implementation and capacity management.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of data center operations experience, with at least 5 years in leadership. You'll need strong technical credentials, including expertise in electrical and HVAC systems, along with relevant certifications. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our data center operations.

Responsibilities For Datacenter Infrastructure Engineer Lead

  • Lead design and planning of electrical and HVAC systems for data centers
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop system specifications
  • Oversee installation of PDUs, UPS systems, and cooling units
  • Manage maintenance schedule and system efficiency
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for power and cooling issues
  • Analyze and forecast power and cooling needs
  • Supervise team of engineers and technicians
  • Manage major infrastructure projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols

Requirements For Datacenter Infrastructure Engineer Lead

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in data center operations, with 5+ years in leadership
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification highly desirable
  • Expertise in data center electrical and HVAC systems
  • Proficient with CAD tools (AutoCAD or Revit)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • CDCP certification or similar is a plus
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
