Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer

  • Design and evaluate electrical systems for state-of-the-art facilities
  • Participate in design meetings for electrical systems in data center builds
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop system specifications
  • Oversee installation of PDUs, UPS systems, and cooling units
  • Manage maintenance schedule and system optimization
  • Analyze and forecast power needs
  • Implement energy efficiency strategies
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols

Requirements For Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license mandatory
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in data center operations
  • Expert knowledge of design and construction process, including permitting
  • Expertise in data center electrical systems
  • Proficient with CAD tools (AutoCAD or Revit)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and team interaction skills
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
