  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop specifications for chilled water system components
  • Oversee design and construction process including permitting
  • Oversee installation of chilled water systems
  • Manage maintenance schedule for chilled water systems
  • Analyze and forecast cooling needs based on IT loads
  • Implement energy efficiency strategies
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer (HVAC / Chilled Water)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license mandatory
  • 5-7 years of experience in data center operations with focus on chilled water systems
  • Expert knowledge of design and construction process including permitting
  • Expertise in HVAC systems and chilled water systems
