Key responsibilities include administering tools like Okta, Rippling, GSuite, Notion, cloud services, and Slack, ensuring robust IT infrastructure, managing employee laptops and security measures, streamlining onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining network connectivity, and collaborating with various teams to support xAI's mission. Responsibilities For System Engineer, Corporate Engineering
- Oversee the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and support of business applications
- Administer and optimize tools like Okta, Rippling, GSuite, Notion, cloud services, and Slack
- Ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure
- Manage employee laptops and implement IT and InfoSec policies
- Streamline processes for onboarding new employees and offboarding departing ones
- Maintain excellent network connectivity in all offices
- Work closely with InfoSec, Supercomputing, Leadership, and Networking teams
Requirements For System Engineer, Corporate Engineering
- Experience as the first or early IT hire in a previous role
- Experience in scaling IT operations from the ground up
- Deep knowledge of enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and IT operations
- Familiarity with managing cloud environments, SaaS applications, and endpoint security
- Proven track record of building and leading IT teams
- Exceptional at diagnosing issues and implementing solutions quickly
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
