Senior UI Engineer

Xayn AG, an innovative AI startup born from research at Oxford University and Imperial College London, is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to join their mission in developing Noxtua, Europe's first sovereign Legal AI. Founded in 2017 and based in Berlin, Xayn has secured €19.5M in funding and maintains a strong academic focus with 30% PhDs in their workforce.

As a Senior UI Engineer, you'll join a dynamic Tech Team of around 10 professionals, including 3 Frontend Engineers, 1 UI Designer, 4 AI Engineers, and various Backend and DevOps specialists. You'll work directly under Aurélien, who leads the Frontend Engineering Team with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership approach that values independent thinking and impactful solutions.

Your role will involve developing sophisticated UI components using React and TypeScript, implementing performance optimizations, and ensuring pixel-perfect design implementations. You'll be responsible for connecting backend APIs, integrating WASM solutions for encrypted communication, and maintaining high code quality through comprehensive testing.
