Xcellink Pte Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Singapore. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Red Hat Linux systems and security. The position requires expertise in vulnerability management, large-scale systems administration, and security tools like Tenable Nessus and Symantec Endpoint Protection. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and strong technical skills in Linux administration, coupled with excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities For Infrastructure Engineer
- Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
- Implement and maintain large-scale systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Utilize Dynatrace and Egurkha for system monitoring and performance optimization
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Tenable Nessus
- Implement and manage Symantec Endpoint Protection to safeguard systems
- Develop and execute vulnerability management strategies to mitigate risks
- Perform Linux system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Ensure systems are compliant with information security standards
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with the information security team to address security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Generate reports on system performance, security, and compliance
Requirements For Infrastructure Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Red Hat Linux, vulnerability management, and large-scale systems
- Proficiency in monitoring and vulnerability scanning tools e.g. Dynatrace, Tenable Nessus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or related technologies (preferred)
- Experience with information security and vulnerability assessment (preferred)
- Familiarity with Linux system administration and systems management (preferred)
