Network Engineer - AI-OPS / Network Security Engineer

Our Client is a multinational information technology company expanding their team, seeking a highly skilled AI-OPS / Network Security Engineer to manage and enhance network infrastructure security. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions to ensure stability, reliability, and security of the network environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining AI-Driven tools with existing network infrastructure for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis
• Working with AIOPs solutions for network monitoring, analytics, and automation
• Automating network tasks and workflows using AIOPs tools and low to no code programming
• Analyzing network data to identify trends, optimize performance, and improve security
• Configuring and managing Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Alcatel Lucent Switches (AOS)
• Implementing and maintaining Palo Alto and Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls
• Administering Alcatel Lucent Wireless Controllers
• Utilizing SolarWinds NPM and NCM for network monitoring and configuration management
• Managing ClearPass Policy Manager for network access control and policy enforcement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in network security engineering
• Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco Nexus Switches, and Alcatel Lucent Switches
• Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls
• Hands-on experience with Alcatel Lucent Wireless Controllers
• Familiarity with SolarWinds NPM / NCM
• Proficiency in ClearPass Policy Manager
• Knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Additional preferred skills include experience with other firewall solutions, network encryption protocols, VPN technologies, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
