Description For Associate Engineer - Engineering X

Xero is seeking an Associate Engineer for their Engineering X team within the Catalyst Engineering portfolio. This role focuses on platform engineering and developer enablement, powering Xero's engineers and Partner Ecosystem. You'll work in the API Golden Pathways pod, specifically on Xero Gateway for inbound traffic.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Expanding knowledge and skills while contributing to engineering excellence
  • Working in a cross-functional environment using modern engineering principles
  • Contributing to software application development for new and improved customer experiences
  • Seeking clarity on technical complexities and demonstrating smart automation
  • Contributing to data-driven decisions for enhancing network solutions

  • AWS and Kubernetes
  • C# and TypeScript
  • Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
  • Gloo Gateway
