Application Engineer, Tube Bending

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer specializing in Tube Bending to join our team. This role is responsible for customer quoting, supplier sourcing, and project management. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in tube bending and fabrication, with competencies including CAD proficiency, knowledge of design for manufacturability, costing, technical communication, and technical aptitude in hydraulic tubing.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide cost estimates for manually quoted tube bending, tube cutting, and metal fabrication products • Assist the Partner Network team in identifying and developing a partner base • Provide pricing recommendations based on previous win rates with part types, industries, and customers • Understand all partner capabilities, identify capability gaps, and guide/train the sales team on opportunity types • Liaise with the auto quote team to implement auto quote capabilities

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering highly preferred • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with tube bending, cutting, and fabrication • Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors, employees, and the public • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
