Application Engineer, Tube Bending

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer specializing in Tube Bending to join our team. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between customers and suppliers, requiring expertise in customer quoting, supplier sourcing, and project management. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in tube bending and fabrication, possessing strong competencies in CAD, design for manufacturability, costing, technical communication, and hydraulic tubing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing cost estimates for manually quoted tube bending, cutting, and metal fabrication products
• Assisting in developing a robust partner network
• Offering pricing recommendations based on historical win rates
• Understanding partner capabilities and guiding the sales team
• Collaborating with the auto quote team to implement new capabilities

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (highly preferred), with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in tube bending, cutting, and fabrication, and 5+ years in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
