Description For Mid-Senior Level Full Stack Software Engineer

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is a digital marketplace that connects innovative ideas with global manufacturing capacity, powering industries of today and tomorrow. We're seeking a mid-senior-level full stack software engineer to join our software engineering team, focusing on evolving our payments platform. As part of a skilled, collaborative team, you'll have total ownership of your work and contribute significantly to the Xometry platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and release software
  • Work with TypeScript/JavaScript/React and Python
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers
  • Manage operational responsibilities for team-owned services in AWS and Kubernetes environments
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Grow in a supportive environment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
  • Proficiency in at least two of TypeScript, React, Python
  • Experience with REST or GraphQL
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles related to security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, multitasking abilities, and good communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Git/Github actions, GitLab
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architectures
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
