Quality Assurance Engineer

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support their rapid customer growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working on the edge and wants to transform an industry. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, using their passion, technical experience, and strong problem-solving skills to continuously improve mechanical solutions from concept to full rate production within Quality Assurance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading quality-centric activities from concept to full rate production
• Working cross-functionally with internal and external customer teams to reduce supplier nonconformities
• Managing internal, customer, and certification audits along with the Quality Management System (QMS) library
• Aiding in completing customer surveys and managing internal corrective actions
• Acting as an onsite quality expert to ensure quick turnaround time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in a quality role
• 2+ years experience in customer/supplier facing role
• Strong Quality Assurance / Supplier Development experience
• Effective communication and facilitation skills
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ
• Full understanding of GD&T and tooling
• Mechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledge
• ISO 9001 and Internal audits experience
• Expected travel requirement of 5%-10%

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASQ Certification
• Familiar with Google Workspace, Looker, Salesforce
• Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness
• AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 auditing certifications
