Senior Data Engineer

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is a digital marketplace that connects innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities. We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer for our Marketplace Services team to build and maintain core data pipelines and models. This role is crucial in understanding key business performance and scaling data modeling across global entities.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll:

• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers in a cross-functional team
• Develop analytics models for actionable business insights
• Create data models for analytics and data science team members
• Maintain and update data pipelines as needed
• Implement deployment and release functionality supporting DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

We're looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 3-5+ years as a software or data engineer in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL, data modeling, and version control (dbt and GitHub preferred)
• Experience with data extraction tools (Fivetran, Airbyte) and event tracking software (Segment, Tealium)
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, preferably Looker
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
