Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is a digital marketplace that connects innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities. We're seeking a senior-level full stack software engineer to join our team for a 1-year contract. You'll be part of a skilled, collaborative group evolving our instant-quote product and underlying technology platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, intensely skilled team environment, values ownership of their work, and is passionate about continuous learning and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, and release software
• Work with HTML, TypeScript/JavaScript/React, Node, and GraphQL
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers
• Take operational responsibility for team-owned services, including AWS and Kubernetes deployments
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Contribute to an environment supporting individual growth

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, technical problem-solving as a software developer
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and DOM web programming
• Demonstrated experience with React, Node, and GraphQL
• Knowledge of software engineering principles related to security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Git/GitHub actions, GitLab
• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases
