Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to elevate their machine learning capabilities. As part of a small, skilled team, you'll play a crucial role in exploring new ML opportunities, developing and implementing models to improve cost, price, and sourcing predictions. You'll lead the evaluation of emerging AI technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the reliability and scalability of Xometry's platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Exploring new machine learning opportunities and performing proof of concepts
• Developing ML models for cost, price, and sourcing predictions
• Leading the exploration of emerging AI and ML technologies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions
• Monitoring and troubleshooting ML models and AI performance

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with state-of-the-art ML techniques (transformers, LLMs, etc.)
• Expertise in large-scale data processing and deep learning frameworks
• Cloud-native software development skills
• Strong software fundamentals and data handling abilities
• 5+ years of experience in building ML-driven products
• 3+ years leading cross-team engineering efforts
