Senior Software Engineer, Payments

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is seeking a mid-senior-level full stack software engineer to join their software engineering organization. The role involves working on evolving the payments platform and its underlying technology. As part of a skilled, collaborative team, you'll have total ownership of your work and be crucial to the Xometry platform.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, coding, testing, and releasing software
• Working with TypeScript/JavaScript/React and Python
• Collaborating with engineers and product managers in a cross-functional team
• Operational responsibility for team-owned services, including AWS and Kubernetes deployments
• Participating in on-call rotation
• Working in an environment supporting individual growth

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced technical environment as a software developer
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, REST or GraphQL
• Knowledge of build and testing technologies (Git/Github actions, GitLab)
• Experience with software engineering principles related to security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions
• Understanding of service-oriented architectures
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Attention to detail, good work ethic, multitasking ability, and strong communication skills
