Founding Robotics Engineer

Yondu, a promising startup founded by MIT students and recently graduated from YC W24 batch, is revolutionizing retail and 3PL services through innovative robotics solutions. We're seeking a Founding Robotics Engineer to join our mission of automating fulfillment processes using mobile manipulators and wheeled humanoids.

As a Founding Robotics Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge robotics technology. Your role will encompass various crucial aspects, from perception algorithms and navigation systems to deep learning implementations. You'll work on challenging problems like few-shot object detection, scene recognition, and multimodal SLAM implementations using LiDAR, RGBD, IMU, and landmark technologies.

We're looking for a versatile individual who's passionate about robotics and eager to tackle any challenge. While we don't have strict degree requirements, your enthusiasm for solving complex robotics problems is essential. You'll be working from our office and a 3PL warehouse in Gardena, LA County, where you'll have hands-on experience with our robots.
