Responsibilities For Senior Data Engineer
- Take ownership of, maintain, and further develop ETL pipelines and tabular data models
- Ensure reliability and accuracy of data pipelines and data models
- Provide diagnostics tools for troubleshooting production issues
- Gain deep understanding of YouGov datasets and source systems
- Provide technical systems for efficient data source acquisition and integration
- Support technical teams as subject matter expert for ETL, cloud and on-prem data pipelines
Requirements For Senior Data Engineer
- Experience in solving complex problems in fast-paced environment
- Led medium-sized ETL and Data Modelling Projects end-to-end
- Experience with Power BI/Power Query ecosystem, DAX, TMSL, and M languages
- Experience with Azure Compute, Database, and Storage resources
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and REST APIs
- Knowledge of .Net (Core) and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with DevOps principles and implementation
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative
- Experience in implementing testing pipelines
