Description For Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll join the Data Engineering team, the most cross-functional team at Younited, working with all business units to design and maintain the company's data infrastructure. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern data technologies including Azure, GCP, Spark, and various data processing tools. You'll be responsible for developing ELT pipelines, maintaining the data warehouse, and collaborating with Data Science teams to enhance the company's competitive advantage through data.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Develop and maintain ELT pipelines
  • Design, maintain and document the Data Warehouse
  • Develop tools and implement practices to improve data quality
  • Support business teams with their data needs
  • Provide teams with tools and platform for data processing
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Data Analysis teams
  • Participate in implementing real-time platform and data mesh
  • Contribute to tech blog posts and conferences

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good knowledge of Big Data environments
  • Interest in data architecture
  • Autonomous and proactive
  • Team player
  • English language proficiency
  • Experience with Azure, GCP, Spark, Python, SQL, DBT, Airflow, BigQuery
