Information Security Engineer, YouTube Main App (Android)

YouTube is seeking a Security Engineer to join their mobile Security Team for YouTube native apps. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of YouTube's extensive mobile application ecosystem, which includes 14 Android and iOS apps such as YouTube Main, Creator Studio, Kids, YTTV, Producer, and Embeds SDK. The position involves working closely with Google Information Security Engineering using a federated security team model.

As a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for protecting network boundaries, hardening systems against attacks, and safeguarding sensitive data. The role combines hands-on security engineering with collaborative work alongside software engineers to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities proactively. You'll conduct security assessments, perform vulnerability research, and design secure protocols while maintaining the highest security standards for YouTube's mobile applications.
